Amid the reports linking him to a possible return to Real Madrid, José Mourinho was blunt and ruled out any kind of contact with the Spanish club. The current coach of Benfica emphasized that he is not in talks with any institution and that he will not do so until the season in Portugal ends.
"I have had no contact with Real Madrid, I have not had it and, until the last league match against Estoril, I will not have it either. After that, there is a one-week window in which I will have the freedom to talk to whoever I deem appropriate", the Portuguese coach assured at a press conference, ahead of the match against Braga.
Mourinho insisted that his stance is a personal decision at a crucial point in the calendar. "I have had no contact with the president or with any of the important people in the structure. And by my decision, especially now that we are in the final phase of the season, I do not talk to anyone", he emphasized.
