The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that military operations in southern Lebanon will continue without restrictions in the face of threats from the terrorist group Hezbollah.

The Israeli Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, was blunt: “There is no ceasefire.”

“We will not tolerate attacks,”

Zamir said that the absolute priority is to protect communities in northern Israel

.

“We will not tolerate attacks or shootings on our communities, and we will not retreat until we guarantee lasting security,” he said.

The message reflects a firm stance: the offensive will continue until any risk is eliminated.

Unrestricted operations against Hezbollah

The Israeli command confirmed that the troops are operating with

total freedom on the ground.

This includes:

  • Destruction of terrorist infrastructure

  • Elimination of Hezbollah fighters

  • Neutralization of threats in active areas

    Even in areas beyond

the Litani River.

The “security line” as a strategic axis

Israel consolidated a security strip in southern Lebanon

.

From there, it seeks to prevent direct attacks against its territory.

Zamir explained that the forces could remain in that area “as long as necessary.”

Hezbollah insists on attacks

The terrorist group

Hezbollah

continues to demand armed actions.

It justifies its attacks as a response to alleged truce violations.

However, Israel maintains that the organization, funded by Iran, remains the main source of instability.

Lebanon demands an end to the offensive

Lebanese President, Joseph Aoun, called for the full implementation of the ceasefire

.

“Israel must comply with the truce before negotiating,” he said.

He also called for the withdrawal of Israeli troops.

A real relentless scenario

Despite diplomatic attempts, the situation continues to

escalate.

Clashes continue at the border.

And the conditions for lasting peace still seem far away.

Security vs. international pressure

Israel maintains its defense-focused strategy.

Meanwhile, the international community is watching with concern.

But on the ground, the reality is clear: the war against Hezbollah is still active.
