The National Meteorological Service (SMN) maintains the forecast of a cold week in the AMBA, although temperatures will begin to recover slowly towards the long weekend.
This Wednesday, May 20 starts with a cold atmosphere, partially cloudy skies, and low temperatures in the City of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires area.

According to the updated forecast from the SMN, this Wednesday will have a minimum of 7 degrees and a maximum of 15 degrees.
During the early morning and morning, partially cloudy skies are expected, while in the afternoon and evening, cloud cover will increase.
There is no chance of rain for the day, and the wind will remain light, with a predominant circulation from the north.

The thermal relief will begin gradually during the long weekend. Saturday, May 23 will be one of the first days with more pleasant temperatures, with a minimum of 9 degrees and a maximum of 15 degrees.
The recovery will continue on Sunday, May 24, when the thermometer will rise to 17 degrees, while Monday, May 25 is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a maximum of 19 degrees.

Thursday, May 21: minimum of 6 °C and maximum of 13 °C, with mostly cloudy skies.
Friday, May 22: minimum of 7 °C and maximum of 13 °C, with partially cloudy skies.
Monday, May 25: minimum of 12 °C and maximum of 19 °C, with partially cloudy skies.
The influx of cold air maintains typical winter conditions in much of the AMBA.
Mornings will continue to be cold, with single-digit temperatures and low wind chill during the early hours of the day.

Although afternoons will have a moderate recovery, the SMN does not foresee a sudden temperature change in the short term.
The current weather forecasts for the AMBA show a stable scenario for the long weekend of May 25.

The agency does not anticipate rain for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, which favors outdoor activities and short getaways.
The combination of more sunshine and less intense wind will help to slowly improve temperature readings towards the end of the week.
