In Europe, we are constantly told about democracy, pluralism, and political freedom. These are words we hear every day in Brussels. However, when millions of citizens vote for parties that question mass immigration and the ideological policies promoted by European bureaucrats, those same principles suddenly seem to lose all importance.

In recent days, the institutions of the European Union have launched a new attack against ESN (Europe of Sovereign Nations), the parliamentary group to which AfD (Alternative for Germany) belongs, the party that currently leads all voting intention polls in Germany. Through procedures initiated by the Authority for European Political Parties and Foundations (APPF), the objective is clear: to deprive us of our official recognition and the resources that belong to us as a democratic force represented in the European Parliament.

This is not an administrative dispute. This is something much deeper.

European bureaucrats are discovering that more and more citizens no longer believe in their political project. Germany, France, Austria, Italy, and many other countries show the same clear trend: millions of people demand the recovery of sovereignty, control of immigration, defense of their national identities, and the end of decades of top-down policies imposed by a ruling class disconnected from the real problems of the people.

In the face of this reality, Brussels has two options: to listen to the citizens or to try to silence them. Unfortunately, it seems to have chosen the latter.

What is truly alarming is that the arguments used against sovereignists are becoming increasingly vague. We are no longer accused of violating any law; we are accused of not sharing certain "political values" defined by those in power. In other words, the problem is not what we do; the problem is that we do not think the way they want us to think.

That path is fundamentally incompatible with democratic values.

If certain political positions can be arbitrarily declared unacceptable by a few politicians and bureaucrats from their desks, then citizens cease to be free to choose between real alternatives.

But this debate does not only affect the sovereignist and patriotic forces of Europe. Argentinians understand this very well. So do Chileans, Colombians, and Mexicans, to name a few examples.

On both sides of the Atlantic, we are witnessing the same phenomenon: every time right-wing movements begin to grow, media campaigns, attempts at censorship, and institutional mechanisms aimed at limiting their advance appear. The tools may vary. The logic remains exactly the same.

What is happening today in Brussels against ESN (Europe of Sovereign Nations) is not simply a European matter. It is part of a broader struggle between those who believe in the sovereignty of nations and those who think decisions should be concentrated in structures increasingly less subject to the control of the people.

Brussels may try to exclude us, stigmatize us, and deprive us of resources. But it cannot erase a reality that becomes more evident with each election: millions of Germans and millions of Europeans want change, and no political establishment, no bureaucracy, and no ruling caste will be able to stop it.
