The situation of the players excluded from River's squad has raised concerns again following the defeat against Gimnasia in La Plata. The result marked the team's third loss at the start of the second semester and reopened the debate about the decision to keep a group of footballers training separately in Cantilo.

The management led by Stefano Di Carlo decided to soften its stance that had been initially adopted. Now, in addition to analyzing offers to finalize permanent transfers, River is willing to negotiate loans that include options or even obligations to buy.

The goal is to accelerate the departure of the footballers who are not part of Eduardo Coudet's plans and reduce the group that continues to work apart from the main squad.

When the club announced that 15 players would be excluded from consideration for the second semester, the intention was to part ways with them solely through sales. The measure had been well received by a significant portion of the fans, who were calling for a renewal of the team.

At that time, the management only considered permanent transfers, like those involving Paulo Díaz and Maximiliano Meza.

However, the market did not progress as expected. After the termination of the contract with Alex Woiski, there are still ten footballers training in Cantilo, just a few meters from the Monumental, without being part of the main group.

The poor start to the semester ended up changing the club's priorities. River lost three of its first matches and, after the defeat against Gimnasia, Coudet again called for the need to bring in new players.
