Rosario Central is going through a delicate situation after the filing of an anonymous complaint for alleged violence and sexual abuse involving players in its 2013 lower division category. Faced with the seriousness of the events, the institution decided to suspend all activities of the group and activate the corresponding protocol.
In an official statement, the club reported: “Having become aware of an anonymous complaint filed with the Children's Ombudsman's Office involving players in our 2013 category,the Rosario Central Athletic Club implements the action protocol, so it proceeds to suspend activities in the category mentioned above.”
“An urgent meeting of coordinators, coaches and parents of the players in the 2013 category is also calledfor today in order to frame the protocol. In addition, Rosario Central contacted the Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents of the province of Santa Fe, placing the club's authorities at their disposal to coordinate the solution,” the text concludes

The complaint, filed with the Santa Fe Children's and Adolescents Ombudsman's Office, points to three minors as allegedly responsible for episodes of abuse, physical aggression and harassment against a partner.
According to the documentation, they forced the victim to undress in the dressing room, taking photographs without consent and exercising physical violence, in addition to threats to disseminate this material.
Situations of improper touching of other players and continued harassment were also reported through the division's WhatsApp group, which generated fear both among the boys and their families.
The conflict escalated on April 21, when a fight between parents led to police intervention. After that episode, the club became formally aware of the situation and, as it transpired, decided to remove the alleged aggressors from
the squad. In addition to researching those involved, the actions of the category's coaching staff will also be analyzed
Another of the points under analysis is the actions of the coaching staff, since the complaint maintains that some coaches were aware of what happened but would not have activated the protocol in
a timely manner.
The Provincial Ombudsman's Office is already intervening in the case, while the rogue club called for an urgent meeting with all the parties involved to define the steps to follow. For the time being, no additional resolutions have been reported, pending the progress of the investigation and the measures to be adopted at the institutional level
