The National Meteorological Service updated its outlook for the coming days in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires and confirmed that the sun will shine more clearly again. For this Wednesday, a partially cloudy sky is expected throughout most of the day, with moments of sunshine and the appearance of some fog in the early hours of the morning.

The temperatures will accompany this mild winter outlook: the minimum will be around 6 degrees and the maximum will reach 15. It will be a day without major surprises regarding precipitation, designed for those who leave early or move around the city throughout the day.

The SMN details that on Wednesday the sky will remain partially cloudy from dawn until night, with fog concentrated mainly in the morning. It is a scenario that allows for planning outdoor activities with some peace of mind, always with the necessary warmth for the cooler hours.

The arrival of the sun after grayer days marks a noticeable change in the mood of the city. Many residents of the AMBA are already beginning to notice the difference when the light prevails over the clouds for several consecutive hours.

Is the sun returning to Buenos Aires? How will the weather be this Wednesday, August 19, according to the SMNHow the weather will continue on Thursday and Friday

For Thursday, the outlook changes a bit. A partially cloudy sky is expected in the early morning, a more cloudy stretch during the morning, and then a return to partially cloudy conditions both in the afternoon and at night. The minimum will rise slightly to 8 degrees and the maximum will reach 17.

An important detail for Thursday is the possibility of gusts of up to 50 kilometers per hour during the night. This stronger wind can be felt strongly in open areas and tall buildings, so it is advisable to keep this in mind when moving around or leaving loose objects on balconies and terraces.

Friday brings a drop in temperature. A minimum of 7 degrees and a maximum of 12 is expected, with a partially cloudy sky throughout the day. Winds will be moderate, between 13 and 22 kilometers per hour, coming from the south.

This combination of lower temperatures and southern winds tends to feel colder than what the thermometer indicates, especially in the morning and at dusk. Those traveling by motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot will likely notice the difference.

Extended forecast - SMN

On Saturday, the sky will start off partially cloudy in the morning and will become somewhat cloudy in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop a bit more: a minimum of 4 degrees and a maximum of 12. Winds will be light, between 7 and 12 kilometers per hour, from the east in the morning and from the west in the afternoon.

This change in wind direction throughout the day is typical of these transitional days. No significant rainfall is anticipated, but the cool atmosphere will remain present from early on.

Sunday closes the week with a minimum also of 4 degrees and a maximum of 13. The sky will remain partially cloudy throughout the day. Winds will be moderate from the south in the morning, between 13 and 22 kilometers per hour, and then will shift to light from the northeast in the afternoon, between 7 and 12 kilometers per hour.
