The announcement came through the official account of the channel on X and followed after the musician had been among the first confirmed names for the celebrity cooking reality show.
The channel's post was direct and clear. “In response to the inquiries received, we want to inform that L-Gante will not be part of this edition of MasterChef Celebrity,” wrote Telefe. The message went viral in no time and sparked all kinds of reactions among the show's followers.
The artist's withdrawal was not a complete secret. Days earlier, journalist Nahuel Saa, better known as “La Criti,” had anticipated the information. However, several colleagues, including Ángel de Brito, denied the rumor and created confusion in the media environment.
