The Argentinian company Lumilagro announced this Sunday that it had reached an all-time sales record over the past weekend.
The announcement came after responding to the recent false statements of the national deputy Miguel Ángel Pichetto, who a few days ago had assured on social networks that the company's plant was undergoing a process of closure and mass layoffs.
The conflict originated when the legislator linked the firm's alleged crisis with the current policies of economic opening of the Government of Javier Milei, defending a model of industrial protection.
However, the company crossed paths with the deputy, describing its statements as false and demonstrating that its current situation is one of expansion and not of regression.
Lumilagro's message.
Innovation and competitiveness in the market The
commercial success reported by the company is based on the launch of Luminox Pampa, a product that, according to the firm, represents a leap
in quality compared to previous versions.
The key to this record lies in a cost optimization strategy: Lumilagro managed to produce a thermos of higher standards at a lower sales price, adapted to the demands of today's consumer.
The company's management said: “This past weekend, we broke all sales records in our history. The Luminox Pampa is a huge leap in quality and, on top of that, at a lower cost. Designed 100% for the real matero.”
Lumilagro's official response, which went massively viral, not only clarified that the plant is still operational, but that there are also export plans to Uruguay and Brazil, positioning the brand as a regional competitor.
Lumilagro tamed Pichetto.
This reality contradicts the opposition's discourse, which criticizes commercial openness and competition, in defense of a closed model with high prices for the domestic market and a lack of
technological innovation.
Lumilagro's response
In his X account, Deputy Pichetto published: “Historic thermos factory closes. The faithful reflection of what the government wants. 170 workers were left on the street”, a false report referring to Lumilagro
.
Hours later, the company itself expressed itself in networks and crossed the deputy as a liar: “FALSE”, he headlined, and explained: “The plant did not close, it continues to produce. We designed another line of thermos for Argentinian use, and when manufacturing it we had a leap in quality, at better costs. Thanks to that, our sales doubled and we started to grow again! ”.
Later, he added: "Lumilagro's restructuring plan includes the opening of its own stores, the export to Uruguay and Brazil and then expanding to the rest of the world and the commercialization of new associated products that will be manufactured in Argentina.”
