The president Donald Trump canceled the massive attacks he had planned to launch against Iran this weekend after Iranian regime negotiators indicated they were open to reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
According to information handled by journalist Barak Ravid, the regime's chancellor, Abbas Araghchi, communicated to Qatari and American diplomats that Tehran was willing to reopen the Strait of Hormuz under an agreement that would allow ships to enter Iranian waters and exit through Oman.
Last night, Trump announced on his social media that he had decided to postpone the scheduled attacks against Iran that included bombings of critical infrastructure within the Islamic Republic. "We just received a request from Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to suspend any attack, as the parameters of an agreement have been agreed upon," the president posted.
"This would include the IMMEDIATE, COMPLETE, AND TOTAL OPENING OF THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ, and the end of Iran's nuclear threat", he added. "I have agreed, for the future benefit of the WORLD and also for the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran, to cancel the attack, on the condition that we can finalize an AGREEMENT quickly", he concluded.
