Zohran Mamdani published the names and addresses of all potential affected parties by his new tax on secondary residences, thereby exposing the personal data of thousands of New Yorkers whom the communist mayor demands to pay more taxes to finance his government plan.

The list that the head of government leaked covers unoccupied and non-primary residences that New Yorkers own in all five boroughs of the city and that exceed a million dollars in value. The names and addresses of each owner are listed in the registry, and the finance department of the mayor's office indicated that the list "includes, among others, those properties that could be subject to the surcharge."

Mamdani had already warned that he would start a "rich hunt" in New York. "If you have a second residence in New York City worth more than 5 million dollars, check your mailbox when you return to the five boroughs, because you have mail," he stated.

"Today we sent notification letters to property owners to let them know that our new tax on pied-à-terre is coming. The best city in the world deserves the best parks, libraries, and schools in the world. That is only possible when we all pay our fair share," said the Muslim politician.

Mamdani had to pressure his ally Kathy Hochul to authorize the new taxes, threatening that he would be forced to raise property taxes if the governor did not increase income and corporate taxes.
