The president Donald Trump responded to the far-leftist Zohran Mamdani and declared this Monday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested on U.S. soil.

The communist mayor said last week that he was in talks with his legal department to devise a plan to arrest Netanyahu in September when the premier attends the United Nations General Assembly held annually in New York.

"Netanyahu's place is The Hague," Mamdani told the New York Times, thinking that New York City is a sovereign and independent country of which he is the supreme leader, believing himself to be above federal law. Ironically, while he wants to make such decisions, the Ugandan communist portrays Trump as a dictator.

Trumpism confronts Mamdani

Trump did not specifically refer to Mamdani's comments, but stated in a statement issued today that Netanyahu "will not be arrested, in any way or form, while he is in the United States of America". Additionally, the president suggested that those who should face arrest are former U.S. presidents for having "brought Iran to this UNPRECEDENTED SPIRAL OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION".

"Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested, in any way or form, while he is in the United States of America. He is fighting against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which recently killed 52,000 innocent protesters, and has spent the last 47 years killing American soldiers and others", part of the presidential message reads.

The U.S. ambassador to the UN, Mike Walz, had already responded to Mamdani over the weekend, calling the government chief's comments "pure political theater" and noting that "the immunity of a head of state applies" and that "federal authority supersedes the wishes of any local mayor".
