The president Donald Trump ordered the Department of Justice on Saturday to investigate members of the Democratic Party who, after winning the legislative elections last Tuesday, have begun to extort and threaten members of the presidential cabinet.
For example, the incoming chair of the Oversight Committee, Democrat Robert Garcia, threatened Stephen Miller after he was announced as the next White House Chief of Staff, writing on social media that Miller was the architect of the "unconstitutional ICE raids" and that "he should start looking for a lawyer."
The case of Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin is the most paradigmatic, as the Trump opponent was caught on hidden camera detailing a concrete plan about what her party intended to do if they regained the parliamentary majority in the midterm elections. In that material, Slotkin talks about armed cases against Trump that the Democrats will pursue in Congress in January, just as happened in Hungary with Orban.
"What are we going to do to hold the Trump regime and its collaborators accountable? I mean legal proceedings", Slotkin asks in the hidden camera. "We have a list of emblematic cases. That is, [...] in each committee, there will be 'emblematic cases' in which… in which we will make people accountable."

Next, Trump's statements on Truth Social.
"The Democrats are threatening a lot of people, including the Attorney General of the United States and others, with impeachment and many other forms of punishment, despite admitting they have no grounds to do so and that no act susceptible to impeachment has been committed or contemplated by the victims of this illegal process," the president wrote.
"This is extortion at the highest level and they must be held accountable for it. Furthermore, they are threatening our donors —some of the most respected people anywhere in the world— with imprisonment and many other levels of punishment, just for being Republicans or Republican sympathizers," he added.
"This is the weaponization of justice and judicial warfare at another level. Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin is saying she will go after all young people who believe in Republican values and show the slightest inclination to be Republicans. Jail should be for these EXTORTIONISTS, and Republicans should wake up quickly," the president commented.
Trump concluded his message by ordering the Department of Justice to investigate this criminal activity of the left. Subsequently, the president called on citizens to report Democrats to Justice. "These thieves should go to jail for what they are doing; the Senate must act and stop being pushed around to the point that the Republican Party loses elections, or something worse!" summarized the head of state.
