In a desperate and failed attempt to evade justice following his arrest in 2019, the sexual offender, pedophile, and convictedJeffrey Epstein targeted President Donald Trump as a priority, seeking any compromising information that could serve as leverage to negotiate a lighter sentence with federal prosecutors.
According to revelations from The New York Times, during marathon meetings with his legal team at the Lower Manhattan correctional facility, Epstein busily scribbled incoherent notes that only demonstrated his impotence and the complete lack of evidence against the president.
The child sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein
Despite his obsession with "delivering" the president, Epstein's notes contained nothing more than rhetoric of resentment. In his legal pads, the financier wrote disjointed phrases like: “Trump is a total con man: smoke and mirrors” and “He never had money”.
These writings, labeled as "disturbed scribbles", make it clear that the offender had no evidence of any criminal conduct by Trump, who was then serving his first term.
Even in earlier emails, such as one sent in 2017 to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Epstein arrogantly boasted: “Your world doesn’t understand how stupid [Trump] really is”.
Years earlier, in 2011, he tried to sow doubts by telling writer Michael Wolff that “Trump knew about the girls”, a claim that lacks any evidentiary support and adds to the financier's list of deceptions.
As he failed in his blackmail attempt, Epstein bitterly complained about his life as a “Pedophile in prison”, lamenting that he was denied visits and phone calls. In his notes, he claimed it was “impossible to mount a defense” due to the constant noise in the Special Housing Unit of the now-closed Metropolitan Correctional Center.

His paranoia reached the point of telling his cellmate, former police officer and convicted murderer Nicholas Tartaglione, that if he “beat him up, the guards wouldn’t file a report”.
Finally, on August 19, 2019, the scene in his cell reflected his ultimate defeat: the floor was covered with ropes and materials to make them. A nearby inmate testified to hearing sounds of fabric tearing the night of his death, and no signs of struggle or third-party entry were detected.
In his final note, Epstein wrote: “ONLY PAIN FOR ME AND FOR OTHERS in the future. Nothing fun! Why should the people I love suffer for my problem? So… what do you want me to do?… !!Cry inconsolably!! Best for everyone”.
It is essential to remember that although Trump and Epstein met in the 1980s, their relationship ended abruptly over two decades ago.
While flight records confirm that the future president flew on Epstein's private jet at least 7 times between 1993 and 1997, the documents emphasize that he never traveled to his notorious private island in the Caribbean.
The definitive break occurred in 2004 due to a dispute over a real estate transaction and Epstein's inappropriate behavior, which led Trump to expel him from Mar-a-Lago for attempting to "groom" young women working at the resort.
After the 2019 arrest, President Trump was adamant in stating that he had not spoken to him in 15 years and that he was “not a fan” of his.
The extent of Epstein's manipulations even reached attempts to influence figures like billionaire Bill Gates and the Russian government, presenting himself as a supposed "expert" on the president's mindset. However, President Trump has consistently denounced the biased public interest in these files as a “hoax”, categorically denying rumors such as the alleged birthday letter mentioned by the Wall Street Journal that said “May each day be another wonderful secret”.
