El Trece is reportedly preparing a significant change in its programming for 2027 that could mark the end of a historic era in Argentine television. According to Adrián Pallares, who revealed this on Monday, November 2, on Intrusos, the channel plans to replace Mirtha Legrand with Moria Casán on Saturday nights.
The information was shared during the broadcast of the América TV program, where the journalist stated that the channel's authorities are already working on next year's schedule.
The news was particularly surprising because the chosen one would not be Juana Viale, who has been filling in for her grandmother during her absence from the screen.
Moria Casán would be the chosen one to replace Mirtha Legrand on El Trece
During Intrusos, Adrián Pallares explained that El Trece's intention would be to maintain a proposal similar to Mirtha Legrand's traditional television dinners, but with a new host. "The idea is for Saturday nights on El Trece to continue with a version quite similar to what we are seeing now, but without Mirtha Legrand", the journalist stated.
He then revealed who would be the chosen figure to lead the project in 2027. "Next year, Saturday nights would be hosted, in a similar format to this, by Moria Casán", Pallares assured.
If the information is confirmed, the renowned actress and host would take charge of a show that would retain some of the characteristic elements of the traditional television dinners. "She would be in charge of these dinners or something similar", added the journalist, who made it clear that the project is still in the planning stage.
For now, El Trece has not officially confirmed the replacement or the characteristics of the potential new program.
Adrián Suar would have a strong interest in incorporating Moria Casán into his projects
Pallares also revealed that Adrián Suar, one of the main figures responsible for the content of El Trece, would have a special interest in having Moria Casán for different projects.
"I was told that Adrián Suar wants Moria for radio, television, whatever it may be", the journalist stated.
The declaration fueled rumors about a possible restructuring of the channel's programming, which would seek to maintain a format recognized by viewers, but with a different figure at the helm.
Moria Casán has an extensive career in Argentine entertainment, both on television and in theater, and her potential incorporation would represent a significant change on Saturday nights.
However, details about negotiations, contracts, or a specific date for a possible debut have not yet emerged.
